Hard to believe Orson Welles was only 23yrs old when his Mercury Theatre on the Air broadcast H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds on October 30, 1938. If one were to tune-in having missed the introduction, it would have been hard not to have looked out your window to see if indeed the world was ending. Amazing stuff...
