The quote in this slide above is from the famous Aikido instructor Kensho Furuya. Sadly, Furuya-sensei passed away a few years ago. His book "Kodo Ancient Ways: Lessons in the Spiritual Life of the Warrior/Martial Artist" is a very good read whether you are practicing one of the martial arts or not.
